Decision Making Guidelines

Success of the DAO requires effective action and collaboration. It can be challenging for decentralized organizations to always find the right balance between action and collaboration. This is intended to help community members decide if something needs a governance proposal or just thoughtful execution.

Questions to ask:

• Could this have a large impact on the DAO or one or more groups within the DAO? If yes, then it should have a governance proposal.

• Is the impact of this decision limited in scope and who it affects? If yes, then just ship it!

• Is this a door we can walk back through? If no, governance vote. If yes AND impact is estimated to be limited, just ship it!
